Steel

Steel alloy is boasts of high tensile strength, heat resistance, good plasticity, and toughness. Steel alloys vary in their properties but are all very desirable for making high-quality parts with excellent mechanical attributes, part accuracy, and high repeatability. Stainless steel is available in the 301, 304, 303, 306, 420, 440C, 416, 430, and more. The stainless steel alloy of 303, 304 and 316 all have various levels of very good corrosion, chemical, and heat resistance. The 440C has the highest strength and hardness, while the 304 and 316 are non-magnetic alloys. Steel 440C is tougher and more rust-resistant due to the presence of carbon and chromium in its alloy. 303SS is generally used for CNC turning. 304SS is good to be used in CNC machining and sheet metal.
